About the event
Join us for a hike this Spring in collaboration with Somerset Woods Trustees. Our Destination: Vernal Pools. In search of Frogs, Salamanders, and their Eggs. We have access to a vernal pool STEM kit to gather water samples in search of micro-fauna, as well as, a small field guide to identify our various amphibian friends. Please arrive 10 mins early. All ages welcome. The hike is about 1 mile round trip. Saturday May 11th at 2pm. Coburn Woods Trails off Russell Road, Skowhegan, ME.
